Part 1: WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT NEXT? ++

1) Tutor Selection: Our team is always ready to source the best available tutor for you. You can see all the tutors' profiles on a unique link which will be sent to you. Please let us know which tutor you prefer, and we will confirm with the tutor whether he/she can accept the assignment.

2) No tutor available: Usually, we will have tutors available in 1-4 days. However, we might need a longer time or we might have a difficulty matching a tutor due to the following reasons: no tutor in the requested location, budget is lower than the market rate, students have limited time slot, among others. Should you encounter any of these, we will look into your concerns and see how we can adjust and accommodate to fit your requirements.

3) Change of tutor: If you are not satisfied with the tutor after you have communicated, please do inform us. We will arrange the best available tutor for you. However, if you have confirmed our tutor, you are required to have a minimum of 1 class together with the confirmed tutor.

4) Fees Collection: After you have confirmed the tutor, our client support will be collecting the tuition fee. In most cases, we will collect the first 2 weeks fee from you after completing 2 weeks cyle of tuition. From the 3rd week onwards, client can pay the fees to the tutor, either weekly or monthly.

5) Client Support: If you need our support and service even after few months of tuition, our client support will try our best to assist you.

Part 2: AFTER YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY HIRED A TUTOR ++

Best Practices we suggest

1) Communication with tutors: Communication with tutor is important to achieve your goal. Home tuition is a personalised service. Most tutors are happy to accommodate reasonable requests. Other important issues, such as rate, tuition timing and subject, can be discussed with the tutor. Discussions may also include student's situation, the expectation of home tuition (is it just for guidance, for exam, etc.), strictness preference, method of teaching, among others.

2) Consistent classes: Most tutors prefer consistent classes. If there are frequent cancellations (like 1 or 2 weeks off every month), student might not be able to catch up or tutor might cancel the class. However, cancellations on a holiday or due to urgent matters are acceptable. The tutor will appreciate if he/she is notified in advance.

3) Prompt payment: Some tutors, such as full-time tutors, rely on tuition income to survive. We encourage paying promptly to the tutor so he/she can continue teaching comfortably.

4) Feedbacks: If you have feedback on the tutor, you can communicate nicely with him/her, so each parties’ expectations are met. You can also tell us if the tutor is good or not, as this will be helpful for us when recommending tutors to clients. If you would like to report any issue, you can contact our client support and we will assist you.

Part 3: UNEXPECTED SITUATION ++

1) Tutor who is not committed: We tried our very best to recommend tutors who are experienced with good attitude. We looked at their profile, previous feedbacks from clients and the relationship between us. However, attitude of a tutor is something we are hard to control. There are small percentage of tutors who will constantly be late to classes, postpone or cancel classes because of their other commitments. If you think this is an issue for you, please report to us immediately and we will assist you to change a tutor or improve the situation.

2) If you can't start the class immediately: If you can't start the class immediately after we have matched a tutor for you, please inform us. When you plan to start the class, say 2 months later, we will assist you in finding another available tutor or in matching with the schedule of the previous tutor with you.

3) If you find out our tutor is not suitable: We will try our best to find a suitable tutor for you. If you find that the tutor is not suitable, please do contact us and we will get you a replacement.
